This is a wedding card for friends of ours, its made using a concertina card. I got some lovely poems from various web sites, I tie it all together with matching ribons. I hope they like it.

I love Edwin, just hanging out, waiting to cause trouble!!! Like most boys, but this one is for a full grown man, he will love the fun in it!!!!I hope.

I found this idea in a crafting magazine, I think this is is really good for teen boys , especially if you are not sure what they are "in" to. The recipient said, "they Rock"

This is for the "men", I love these new stamps from Forever Friends, I made these using up scraps of paper I had in one of my many scrap boxes. I dont throw away anything.

My Olivine Essence card collection.

I love these papers from Paper Mania, its the Olivine Essence collection, Last years, but I got the bargain price of £1 per pack, I got lots of colours to match the flower collection I have. I also like doing stitching on cards, as yet I've not used the sewing machine, just rubber stamps, cheating in a way!!

My first "Mothers Day Card" this cute, am going to do another , with different colours, I have new flowers to use, watch this space, lol.

For my niece , I do try to resist the urge to use flowers.
But I cant help myself.

I never do as many "man" cards as I should, but I so like this, its easy to do, I made my own templates for this,all you need is coloured paper, and I have boxes of paper in every patteren i can get my hands on.

For a friends 40th, I love working with the magnolia stamps and paints. Hope you like ?

SARA'S BIRTHDAY CARD

This is a card I made for a special friend I made 18 months ago on a web site called,
moanaboutmen, she is a friend for life, and also a fellow card maker.

I posted this to her home well in advance of her valentine birthday, but as the day
got closer , the card seemed no nearer. OMG moment!!!

The night before her birthday she had an idea, on occasion the postie put things in
the barbecue, but always left a note. Low and behold there was my card, in a parcel
waiting to be discovered.

Sara also decided she was going to stay up till midnight so she could open my card.
After opening it, she thought I hadn't signed it. Sara likes her wine!!!!
Next day after much sleep, she found my writing, its in a tag behind the last picture,
"Oh Sara, you make me chuckle"

This is like an envelope and card all in one, I used 3 pre- scored
cards, stuck them together, I decorated the inside like a card, but I can never leave a blank bit of card, so I decorated the outside too.
I folded it and wrapped around blue cord and secured it around a silver flower.

Where it all started.

Hello to those who have come to take a peak at me and mine.
I have been Card Making and Scrapbooking since a visit to the USA when my sis lived there for a while, that was in 1998, I was hooked from then on in.
At the time I couldnt buy anything here really, i had to make everything myself. The only thing i could get was Rubber Stamps, but they had to be ordered and took a while to come.
But now, OMG, you can buy anything and everything. I even have a craft room, that i am unable to get in coz its full to bursting. I am not aloud to buy anything more till i get rid of some things. Luckily I have a friend who has just started and wants my stuff.
I have a huge weakness for paper, and card, patterend, plain, shiny, smooth, textured, you name it. I also like ribbon and flowers, when you see my creations you can tell i like flowers.
I am not as good as other at making my creations, but I love doing it, My daughter also has the same crafting bug, Its hard to shake.!!!
I have been looking at some beautiful blogs, and i can look all day long, so i thought i would try doing my own. I will be adding photos as soon as i suss out how to do it!!!
